Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day Event Brings Special Raid Day

Pokemon Go’s annual Valentine’s Day event is back for 2020. The Valentine’s Day 2020 event for Pokémon Go has commenced meaning fans can now catch Audino and Alomomola.

Pokemon Go is celebrating the most romantic day on the calendar with a pink Pokemon theme. Pink Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, in raids, in Eggs and as Field Research encounters from Friday, February 14, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. until Monday, February 17, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time.

The Hearing Pokémon – Audino and the Caring Pokémon – Alomomola, will be creating their Pokémon GO debut! Audino is a Normal-type Pokémon that helps nurses in Unova region Pokémon Centers, essentially replacing Chansey. Alomomola, despite looking like an evolved form of Luvdisc, is a pure Water-type Pokémon with no evolutions. They’ll be appearing within the wild and hatching from 7 km Eggs. They are rare although, so you would possibly encounter them only if you’re very lucky! Audino and Alomomola will remain available in Pokémon GO after the event ends but both can incredibly hard to find.

Regular Lure Modules activated throughout the event will last six hours, and trainers will receive a 2× Catch Candy bonus. This will authorize trainers to grab as many Pokémon as possible while stocking up on candy to evolve and power up their Pokémon. Pink Pokémon—like Cleffa, Igglybuff, Lickitung, Luvdisc, Porygon, Smoochum, Tyrogue, and Happiny—will be hatching from 7 km Eggs. If trainers are lucky then they might encounter a Shiny Chansey in the wild or hatch a Shiny Happiny!

Celebrate the stunning occasion with Valentine’s Day-themed avatar items like the Luvdisc Top, Ripped Luvdisc Jeans, and Luvdisc Shoes. Get them in the Style Shop!

Lickitung Raid Day

The pink Pokémon festivities in celebration of Valentine’s Day, there’ll be a Lickitung Raid Day on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in local time zone! Lickitung will be in four-star raids and recognize Body Slam! Trainers will be able to receive up to 5 Raid Passes without any cost throughout the event by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Trainers can not hold more than one of these Raid Passes at once, and that they won’t be out there once the event ends. Lucky trainers may encounter Shiny Lickitung!
