Huawei P40 Pro specs leaked on Geekbench

Before the official announcement of the Huawei P40 series, P40 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench and its pricing has leaked online. The smartphone achieved a score 776 in the single-core test of Geekbench 5 and recorded a score of 3182 in the multi-core test. These phones will be announced to go official on March 26, according to GSMARENA.

The Chinese phone maker company has already unveiled the Huawei P40 Lite and P40 Lite E in the market. The listing reveals HUAWEI P40 Pro 5G will run Android 10 out of the box and have 8GB RAM onboard with model code ELS-NX9. Tho’ there’ll doubtless be alternative RAM choices still that are not confirmed nonetheless.

The phone will not come with Google Mobile Services (GMS) as Google advised not to sideload Google’s App and services on new Huawei device models. Instead, it is expected to get Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) support which includes the HMS own AppGallery.

The upcoming phone is mentioned to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin chipset that incorporates a base frequency of 1.95GHz. It is likely to be the Kirin 990 5G SoC.

Huawei is expected to unveil the vanilla P40 smartphone and a Premium Edition smartphone.
