Sachin Bansal’s co-founded venture Navi Technologies (formerly BAC Acquisitions Pvt. Ltd) on Thursday has acquired of MavenHive, a Bengaluru-based technology consulting firm in order to drive its product development initiatives.

The Mavenhive team along with its founders, Bhavin Javia and Anandha Krishnan have joined Navi, as a part of this transaction.

“This acquisition will add great capability to our ambitions to build cutting edge technology platforms that can take applications to scale. This acquisition will add to Navi’s technology capabilities,” said Sachin Bansal, CEO, Navi.

Mavenhive was started in April 2012 and was specialised in end-to-end product development, training and other corporate entities. The platform deals in web applications, minimum viable product (MVP), systems integration and application programming interface integration for companies.

Mavenhive had a team of seasoned software professionals which has helped several startups and tech companies to scale up like Flipkart, GoJek, Grasshopper, Scripbox, ThoughtWorks and Housing.com among others.

Bansal started Navi, formerly known as BACQ Acquisitions with his IIT Delhi classmate Ankit Aggarwal, who was previously a director at Bank of America. Navi has made investments in multiple startups like Ola, Bounce, Krazybee, Ather Energy.
