Xiaomi hosted a live stream for the event to launch of its new flagship phones Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagship smartphones in the European market. The company has also announced a mid-range third model for the series called Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G.
The Mi 10 will start at €799 for 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for entry-level model version, there’s also an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model for €899. The Mi 10 Pro will go for €999 in its 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage trim.
Both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models of Xiaomi come with curved 6.67-inch (1080×2340p) AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution, 90 Hz screen refresh rate, a punch-hole of the top left corner on the screen for the 20MP (f/2.0) resolution front camera for selfie and a built-in fingerprint scanner and tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Both Mi 10 models of Xiaomi have 108MP (f/1.7) primary sensor cameras developed jointly with Samsung, capable of recording at 8K resolution. The Xiaomi Mi 10 supports this camera setup with a 13MP (f/2.4) ultrawide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the other hand, the Mi 10 Pro offers a telephoto camera with 8MP (f/2.0) telephoto lens, a 12MP (f/2.0) portrait one and a 20MP (f/2.2) ultrawide angular. It has a wide-angle camera.
Both the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC with the X55 5G modem alongside up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro run on Android 10 with MIUI 11 bloatware, or probably MIUI 12.
Mi 10 has a 4780mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and Mi 10 Pro version has a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. Both phones have a 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support.
