Honor 9X India launch is set for January 14, Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced it will be bringing the 9X to the Indian market in invites to the tech media on Saturday and the smartphone will be available on Flipkart. Huawei founded Honor smartphone brands in 2013 with mid-range in China and globally.
Honor expected to launch two more products at the launch event, i.e, the Honor MagicWath 2 smartwatch and the Magic Book laptop lineup alongside the Honor 9X. This will be the first time Honor will bring its new laptop range in the country.
The Honor 9X is with the same specifications as the Chinese variant. Honor 9X is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor, notch-less display, and 4,000mAh battery. with either 4GB or 6GB RAM options and 64GB, 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card.
Honor 9X features a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution 19.5:9 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 391ppi. The smartphone is powered by the Kirin 710F chipset, paired with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
The device packs double back cameras together with 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera to click selfies and for video calling along with also a 16MP front-facing snapper with an f/2.2 lens.
The Honor 9X runs Android Pie with EMUI 9.1.1 and sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
