Kangana Ranaut donates Rs 25 lakh to PM-Cares fund to help fight of coronavirus

Indian actress Kangana Ranaut has donated Rs 25 lakhs to PM-CARES fund to help fight the spread of Novel Coronavirus and also donated food grains and eatables to the family of daily wage earners amid a countrywide lockdown.

“Kangana has also contributed to PM cares 25 lakhs and donated Ration to daily wage earners families, we need to stand united and do what best we can, many thanks from our family @narendramodi @PMOIndia #PMCARES #Istandwithhumanity,” Kangana’s sister Rangoli tweeted.

Bollywood celebs are coming forward to help in the crisis of coronavirus epidemic. After celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Bhushan Kumar, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Karthik Aryan, Madhuri Dixit Priyanka Chopra, Rajkummar Rao, Sara Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, and Vicky Kaushal, actress Kangana Ranaut has recently joined the list of stars pledging their support by contributing.

Rangoli also revealed their mother Asha Ranaut has given support in this ongoing fight against Coronavirus. She has deposited one month’s pension in the PM Cares fund.

“My mother gave her one month pension, we don’t know how long lockdown will last we need to survive with what we have but we can make few adjustments for the nation, thanks @narendramodi Ji for giving us a chance to contribute #PMCARES @PMOIndia,” Rangoli tweeted.

Kangana is currently at her house in Manali, making the most out of the lockdown by spending time with her family and finding time to do all that which previously was not possible given her hectic schedule.
