An actress Mollie Fitzgerald, 38, who appeared in the movie “Captain America: The First Avenger” has been arrested Tuesday by police in Olathe, Kansas, the Kansas City Star reported.
Mollie is charged with second-degree murder and jailed on $500,000 bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if she had an attorney who could comment on her behalf.
Mollie was charged with second-degree murder in the death of her mother, Patricia “Tee” Fitzgerald, 68, whom authorities say was found Dec. 20 inside her home in Olathe.
Mollie Fitzgerald had a minor role as Stark Girl in the 2011 Marvel film Captain America origin story and worked on mostly low-budget films, including “The Lawful Truth” in 2014 and “The Creeps” in 2017.
Police say the case remains under investigation, but have not provided additional details yet.
